SpiroUSB Spirometer The Micro
Medical Spiro USB is an advanced Spirometer designed
for the professional that plugs directly into your
PC. The software is structured around Spida 5 with
its user-friendly modern multi-window visual interface.
Up to 41 spirometry indices are measurable, open
and closed loop test techniques and the overlaying
of previous test curves is possible. Extensive search
facilities and powerful trending of results together
with lung age calculation and textual interpretation
of the results feature. The software can be easily
linked to other patient journal or GP administration
systems, occupational health or other medical databases.
With a laptop or notebook PC the SpiroUSB becomes

MicroLab 3500 Spirometer Developed
specifically for the professional, the next generation
MicroLab employs Micro Direct’s acclaimed
precision Gold Standard Digital Volume Transducer
which is especially suited to measuring very low
flow rates in patients with COPD. The MicroLab has
a class-leading, very high definition paper-white
screen and can display both Volume/Time and complete
Flow/Volume Loops (using either the open or closed
loop test techniques).The instrument can measure
up to 36 spirometry parameters and has a database
storage capacity for over 1000 patients. A built-in
high resolution printer quickly delivers hard copy
results; however full page printouts are possible
using an external Hewlet Packard or Canon printer
(compatible models specified by Micro Direct). A
new child incentive graphical display is featured
and an optional Airway Resistance measurement module
is offered. A comprehensive range of advanced features

is specifically designed for both patient use at
home as well as large scale clinical trials featuring
a memory capability for date and time and the three

against time to allow an instant picture of patient

act as a normal MicroPlus Spirometer with its proven

incentive, bronchial challenge test routine and
a powerful trend package. The modular design of
